Mr. Ronald  Boykin  Andrews  passed  from  this  life  the  morning  of  November  21st  after  a  sudden decline  in  health.  He  was  born  in  Brundidge,  Alabama,  but  grew  up  in  New  York  City.  During  his childhood,  he  learned  to  play  the  trombone  then  began  playing  the  guitar.  In  fact  he  took  his passion  to  Woodstock  with  his  guitar  on  his  back  where  he  listened  to  Jimmy  Hendricks  and others.  He  attended  Brooklyn  College  before  relocating  to  Ozark,  Alabama  in  1974,  at  which time  he  began  working  as  a  carpenter  and  painter.  His  work  as  a  master  carpenter  and  builder may  be  found  across  many  cities  and  states.  His  passion  for  music  continued  in  Ozark  as  a local  radio  station  DJ.  His  love  of  the  arts  further  evolved  into  amateur  photography  and drawing.  His  hobbies  also  included  playing  basketball  and  reading.  He  had  a  tenacity  for  trivial facts.  He  enjoyed  playing  cards,  dancing,  and  spending  time  with  family  and  friends.  Always willing  to  give  a  helping  hand,  he  will  be  missed.  His  life  and  legacy  will  live  on  in  the  lives  of  his loving  family  and  friends. Ronald  is  preceded  in  death  by  his  father,  Boykin  Andrews,  and  his  son,  Clyde  Mahari  Andrews. He  is  survived  by  his  daughter,  SheRon  Andrews;  three  sisters,  Anginell  Andrews,  Jennifer (John)  Mack,  and  Beverly  Bailey;  brother,  David  (Shawand)  Andrews;  mother,  Ollie  H.  Andrews; uncle,  David  (Janice)  Andrews;  and  a  host  of  nieces,  nephews,  cousins,  extended  family,  and friends.
